ambientfunk is the moniker of Klaus Killisch, a visual artist based in Berlin. As a teenager, he built his own electric guitar, inspired by a photo of a Fender Stratocaster. This guitar is still part of his music production.  He has collaborated with a number of musicians, visual artists and poets, notably Mikael Erikssonn ( playin’ ), Robert Fitterman, Enkidu rankX and Richard Sylvarnes ( KaiSaR, phaenos ). He has been working on his solo project ambientfunk since 2015. He is increasingly interested in the fusion of ambient music with experimental techniques. One of his latest release The Mystic is a collaboration with poet Robert Fitterman and comes as a vinyl LP in a limited edition.
