Ink drawings and collages made from pages of a 1908 book on anatomy and the human interior. Historical illustrations of organs, tissue and bodily structures become fragments of a new visual language.
The drawings are combined with lyrics by Robert Fitterman, written in dialogue with the ambientfunk album HOWEVER WE ARE IS OK. Words and images overlap, producing a space between body and language, the factual and the imaginary, the intimate and the strangely anonymous.
The old anatomical images are not treated as scientific documents but as found material—reassembled, overwritten and set into resonance with the music and Fitterman’s texts.
